Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

I try to recycle as much as possible, not least to ensure we have enough room in the bin in the run up to collection day! It does feel a shame just to drop some jars, etc, in the recycling box, especially as I'm the type of person who cannot walk past a display of storage tins without buying one.

My latest project has been empty SMA formula tubs. The council recycling team will take them, but they're such a good size for storage that all they need is a bit of prettying up. I spent this evening covering mine in funky patterned paper I picked up in Tiger for £1 a roll.

What tips do you have for re-purposing baby accessories?

ETA: This idea made it onto That's Life's tips page and netted me £50! :)

  1. I love this paper! Tiger is such a great store. Who doesn't need lots of storage tins and boxes. I never buy them haha. Love a good upside. #MakingHome

    1. I'm obsessed with Tiger - I can't walk past the place, I have to go in and look around. They just have too much cool stuff!
