Lloyds Bank, generally recognised as one of the most LGBT+ supportive employers in the UK, released an ad featuring a same sex proposal for their ‘Your Next Step’ campaign in March 2016.
Lloyds marketing director Catherine Kehoe said: “The new campaign builds on the phenomenal success of the 250th anniversary campaign, showing how we’ll always be by our customers’ side, giving them the financial confidence to take their next step. We’ve adopted a contemporary and distinctive approach, focusing on the diverse and sometimes challenging moments in the lives of our customers today.”
The only complaints I’ve seen about the ad was that some of the shorter edited versions cut out the proposal scene.
