Baby Book


I've been updating Marianna's baby book a bit. Well, I say a bit... It needs loads of updating. I was very good with it for the first couple of months and then it all went downhill. Still, at least it's not completely empty!


When I was at ante-natal class we were told to start a baby book to chart the pregnancy journey, or some equally soft sounding term, but I couldn't do it. It felt like I would be tempting fate somehow. I did buy one though (it's actually an A4 notebook, because I couldn't find one I liked), and  I filled in a couple of pages when Marianna was about 8 days overdue, but I couldn't even finish those.


I caught up once Marianna was home, and got everyone to write her a postcard or a letter for her to read when she's older. Hopefully I'll be better at updating it over the winter - now I've just got to look for a good photo printing deal to cover the summer. :)

    That's a great thing for her to have and look back on when she's older - and I bet she won't notice there's some gaps #paperypeep

      I hope not! :) I think you're right though, I loved looking at mine and my mum had only filled in a few pages of it.

    Lovely book to be putting together and a beautiful keepsake for her, too. I have baby books for both of mine, and then I write to them on their birthdays each year in a journal, too. Thanks for joining in and sharing with #PaperyPeep

    I so need to baby books for both of my children I have bought them but not completed them - how bad is that? My son is 4 in October.. but this looks beautiful #paperypeep

I kept seeing ads and deals for Simply Cook everywhere, so as there was a special offer on at OhMyDosh! Rewards (£3 for the box and £3.50 cashback) I figured I had nothing to lose by giving it a try. What Is It? Recipe kits packed into boxes which fit through your letterbox. The usual price is £9.99 for a kit of 4, with each one serving 2-4 people depending on your serving sizes.
