The dining room in my mum's doll house.
Supplier: Shepherd Miniatures
You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter as @shepherdminis.
Products: Shepherd Miniatures sell handmade 1/12 scale minis, specialising in paper products and tiny packaging. I bought some really cool pieces, including a set of fireworks, a wet sponge, and a few books. Most of the rest you can see below - my favourites are the fold-out map, cross stitch kit, and the paint colour chart. You can fan it in and out just like the real thing! I was really impressed too with the smaller items, like the match box, love hearts and fruit pastilles sweets (my camera was struggling to focus!) - the print quality and finish is awesome.
Post and Packing: £3.40 first class, £3.00 second, and £5.00 international. Or free if you spend over £50. My order was with me in four working days.
The dining room looks fab. I love doll houses, sadly I don't have one, but I admire them when I get the chance.
ReplyDeleteThey're really addictive! You give in and get one, then suddenly you have a whole row of them... :)
DeleteHow amazing does all this look?! I'd love to get into miniatures but I don't know the first place to start!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm slowly working my way around all the UK suppliers, there's so much cool stuff about. :) I think the starting point for a lot of people is the Dolls House Emporium. They're one of the major stockists, plus they have lots of general info - http://www.dollshouseblog.com/getting-started-in-the-dolls-house-hobby/
DeleteAwwww love the mini sweets how cute,
ReplyDeleteThey're so tiny - I'd never have the patience to make them!
DeleteHow cute is the map! I do love seeing your doll house posts as it's something I'd never do but I find it fascinating
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with #LIML
It's come on so much in recent years in terms of what you can get in miniature :)
