Friday Frivolity: Lip Sync Battles

Friday Frivolity pinnable image

I've never seen the UK version, but Lip Sync Battle has produced some of the greatest TV moments I have ever seen. And some which can never be unseen. Like Stephen Merchant in chaps:

It made me think of some of my other favourite musical comedy moments. Like Kevin Bishop's take on a youth focused Songs of Praise (Sunday sing-along hymn show):

And this family friendly take on Snoop Dogg from Lenny Henry:

Finally, this epic viral ad from Fiat UK featuring the 'Motherhood' rap:

Now on to the link-up! :D

  1. I hadn't seen any lip synch things before, so I was looking forward to seeing what you gals shared - so funny!

    1. Hehe, Anthony introduced me to it and I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't that!

  2. So funny! But I need my eyes burned to get the image of the chaps out of my head!

  3. AWWW! Thanks for the sweet shout-out! I'm so old and fuddy-duddyish that I never did lip sync. Hey, I was a choir geek...I sang for real...and often in Latin!;) (I snooty of me.). Anyway, this is so exciting, and I can't wait to tell Christine her fabulous guest post is getting some more love from one of the best link parties EVER. You girls rock, lip-syncing or otherwise.

    1. That is actually really awesome! I was in choir too at school, though Welsh was as exotic as we got! ;)
Thanks so much for being part of our part-ay! xx

  4. Oh my gosh these are amazing... the motherhood rap and snoop dog parody are SO funny. ;P Love it!!

I love to hear from you, so please don't be shy!
