This week's host theme, in honour of Cow Appreciation Day (July 15th), is the cow. They can be confusing creatures; I always remember my little brother getting way over excited every time he saw anybody riding a cow... apparently finding them indistinguishable from a horse. To be fair, media representations of cows can be kind of, er, weird.

It's like the stuff nightmares are made of. Kids' shows don't do much better, like good old Ermintrude in The Magic Roundabout:

Mother Nature knows best though. At least when it comes to providing funny cows, like these super fluffy examples! Aw.
