Friday Frivolity: Cows

Friday Frivolity

This week's host theme, in honour of Cow Appreciation Day (July 15th), is the cow. They can be confusing creatures; I always remember my little brother getting way over excited every time he saw anybody riding a cow... apparently finding them indistinguishable from a horse. To be fair, media representations of cows can be kind of, er, weird.

Exhibit A. The Laughing Cow, soft cheese mascot:

It's like the stuff nightmares are made of. Kids' shows don't do much better, like good old Ermintrude in The Magic Roundabout:

Time didn't do much to improve the situation:

Mother Nature knows best though. At least when it comes to providing funny cows, like these super fluffy examples! Aw.
