Happiness Survey

Torfaen Public Services Board has launched a Happiness Pulse survey which gives you an overall happiness score. The results will be used to help inform the PSB's well-being plan. It should take you just a few minutes, and is a very simple tick box affair - I gave it a go this morning:

Torfaen PSB Happiness Survey

As well as measuring general wellbeing, the survey will give you a ranking for -

  • Be. How you feel about yourself and life, eg. your physical and economic circumstances as well as your temperament, background and personality.
  • Do. What you do in your day-to-day life, the simple actions that support your wellbeing and happiness.
  • Connect. It's about relationships - the quality and frequency of connection with both the close and looser ties you have with others.

Once you have your results you can click through to the Happy City website which has lots of articles, courses, and general tips on how to improve your score in each section. My depression has been quite bad lately so, as expected, my lowest score was in the 'Be' section - my favourite tip from the site for helping this was:

'You don't have to attend every argument you're invited to.'

I really like that one!

You have until the end of February to give the survey a go HERE.
