Friction Free Shaving Review

Friction Free Shaving Review

This week I've been trying out a subscription box with a difference - friction free shaving sent direct to your door. Because, if there's anything I hate, it's shaving. It's time consuming, often painful, and costs a fortune in disposables. And, yet, I'm not quite radical enough to say to hell with it and go au natural.

So, as a happy medium, I figured I'd try out FFS: the UK's first razor delivery service designed for women. When you sign up you get to choose between a rose gold or silver razor with four sets of blades, whether or not you want it engraved, and what extras - if any - you want included. After that first month you get regular deliveries of four heads (each with six diamond-coated steel blades) for £9, monthly or every other depending on how often you shave, again with the option to add extras.

Friction Free Shaving FFS

I went for the rose gold, and had a couple of coupon codes at the ready to get a free gift and a post-shave balm. I also got the handle engraved with my initials which makes it look very fancy! In fact, the presentation of the whole thing was really nice, and each item is good quality.

The real test, of course, is how well it deals with the job it was designed to do... I tried it out for the first time today and I'm happy to report that the answer is excellently! Seriously, it's the best razor I've ever used, and I've tried out pretty much all the major brands (including the mens') over the years.

If you fancy trying Friction Free Shaving out yourself, you can get a razor and your first set of blades for just £9 at the moment. If you use my referral code - VY58IX - you can get free engraving worth £6. Even better, you can also use a separate promo code - try HEALTH8 or CARE8 for a free gift - and go through Quidco or Topcashback to get 25% cashback too. :)

Free Magazine Scans

Click the pictures below to find full cover guides to various teen magazines (primarily collated to make scale miniature magazine covers but I figure they'll also be useful for collectors and anyone into media history) and scans from my own magazine collection. I've also got a couple of kids' books I didn't want to part with - The Squirrel and Little Owl Book of Pets . The unwieldy size of my bookmark folders convinced me I needed a reference post for online magazine archives. Or, more accurately, free online magazine archives. Simply Cook Review

I kept seeing ads and deals for Simply Cook everywhere, so as there was a special offer on at OhMyDosh! Rewards (£3 for the box and £3.50 cashback) I figured I had nothing to lose by giving it a try. What Is It? Recipe kits packed into boxes which fit through your letterbox. The usual price is £9.99 for a kit of 4, with each one serving 2-4 people depending on your serving sizes. All you need to do is buy the fresh ingredients required and follow the instructions. Here is Simply Cook's own helpful diagram: Does It Work? For me, as the person just eating it, it was awesome. Everything tasted great - the mushroom penne in particular was so good I went back for seconds - and I liked that the sauces weren't as rich as Anthony would usually make them. For Anthony, who cooked them, they weren't as impressive. He complained that the food was bland and that it was actually quite a lot of faff, as Lidl didn't stock everything we needed which meant another trip ou
