Squinkies are a toy manufacturer's dream. They're small enough that storage isn't a major problem, and they're cheap enough that you can amass a lot of them in a short space of time. To take advantage of that fact waves and waves of the things are released, making them highly collectible and the scourge of many a parent the world over.
The marketing guff claims that they 'live in the land of Squinkieville, where there are always fun adventures to be had.' Like dressing them up or moving them into their own little houses, via the help of accessory add on packs ('Do Drops'). Seriously, these squishy little things have everything.
They work well with 1/6 scale dolls, the horses being roughly to a large My Little Pony.
Although the basic ranges are very cutesy, with lots of little animals, they also do licensed ranges from the likes of Disney and Marvel.
