Bother Review

I first came across Bother while researching referral schemes for my mammoth 2022 Refer and Earn post. The whole idea of the company is that you use them to buy your bulky stock cupboard, cleaning and other essentials, to make it easier for you to shop locally for fresh and seasonal produce. You can even put your regular purchases on subscription order to make your life hassle free.

I love the concept - and the eco credentials of the company - but with so many supermarkets within walking distance it's not something I really needed. But. Their referral scheme was one of the absolute best I came across. When somebody uses your code to make their first order, they get £25 off a £50 shop. And so do you! I had my first thank you code through this week and instantly put it to good use to get a few necessaries. The rest I spent on Coca Cola, Anthony's number one vice.

Other people might smoke or gamble or collect stuff. Anthony drinks coke. Lots and lots of coke. With prices constantly rising any deal like this is one to jump at for us.

Almost as soon as the order arrived I had another code through. So I bought more coke. It was already on offer at £10.99 for 24 x 330ml cans, but with the code it was basically half price. I bought five cases of the stuff, aka 120 cans, and it cost me £29.95. Delivery was free because the cart was originally over the £40 minimum and it doesn't reset after you put the code in.

On top of all that, you even get a free treat for ordering from them.

If you haven't shopped from them before, the welcome offer is definitely worth giving them a go for. Alongside cleaning products, toiletries and baby essentials, and stock cupboard basics, they also sell snacks and alcohol so there is bound to be something you'll find worth stocking up on. I don't know how long they will keep up the scheme up for though, so I'd recommend checking it out sooner rather than later.

Get £25 of when you spend £50 at Bother with referral promo code -

ETA: The site doesn't display well in Chrome, but other browsers seem to be fine.

ETA2: The scheme has already been ammended to give £25 off, get £15 off... Still fab for new customers though.

Click the pictures below to find full cover guides to various teen magazines (primarily collated to make scale miniature magazine covers but I figure they'll also be useful for collectors and anyone into media history) and scans from my own magazine collection. I've also got a couple of kids' books I didn't want to part with - The Squirrel and Little Owl Book of Pets . The unwieldy size of my bookmark folders convinced me I needed a reference post for online magazine archives. Or, more accurately, free online magazine archives. Simply Cook Review

I kept seeing ads and deals for Simply Cook everywhere, so as there was a special offer on at OhMyDosh! Rewards (£3 for the box and £3.50 cashback) I figured I had nothing to lose by giving it a try. What Is It? Recipe kits packed into boxes which fit through your letterbox. The usual price is £9.99 for a kit of 4, with each one serving 2-4 people depending on your serving sizes. All you need to do is buy the fresh ingredients required and follow the instructions. Here is Simply Cook's own helpful diagram: Does It Work? For me, as the person just eating it, it was awesome. Everything tasted great - the mushroom penne in particular was so good I went back for seconds - and I liked that the sauces weren't as rich as Anthony would usually make them. For Anthony, who cooked them, they weren't as impressive. He complained that the food was bland and that it was actually quite a lot of faff, as Lidl didn't stock everything we needed which meant another trip ou
