2ge+her Dolls

2ge+her were a spoof boyband formed in the MTV television movie of the same name in 2000. They went on to star in two seasons of a spin-off TV series and released two albums which charted at #35 and #15, respectively, in the US. Sadly the show was cancelled following the death of Michael Cuccione - 'QT' - a week after his 16th birthday in January 2001. For a while though 2ge+her were a real phenomenon in the States, and Play Along Toys released a set of fashion dolls in 2001. I really struggled to find any decent pics of the dolls, but I did find an old angelfire fansite from 2000 that's still online with links to a few others. Frames! Frames everywhere! It was like I was 12 all over again for a moment. ★ Doug Linus - box front / box back . ★ Jerry O'Keefe - box front / box back . ★ Chad Linus - box front / box back. ★  Mickey Parke - box front / box back. ★ Jason 'QT' McKnight - box front / box back. This Week - 29/08/2021

I'm sure I did stuff this week - I mean, I've made it to Sunday after all - but my mind is a blank! Marianna wanted to try camping so Anthony's dad dug out their two man tent and pitched it in our garden for us. We made it to 1:00 am before Marianna asked to come back inside... I have to say I was relieved; it was bloody freezing and my back was in pieces. But then I've never been a fan of the whole sleeping under canvas thing. (My parents will tell anyone who'll listen about my endless childhood complaints.) We went to the park a few times. I caught up on backdating a bunch of UFO posts. I jarred my back all over again when a spider ran across my lap and I leaped about five foot in the air... On Saturday we went to a little family barbecue at my mum and dad's. By about half seven I was sunburned, tipsy, and napping on the sofa. On the blog I posted a guide to Mermaid High dolls , Blitz magazine , and Welsh UFO sightings of 2010 .   Deal of the Week -

Death on the Canal - 1863, Mary Jones

I did the basic research for this blog series a couple of years ago. Then, as usual, flitted along to the next thing that caught my interest. Now I'm trying to flesh the cases out and present to you my justification for not being a fan of walking along the canal on dark and lonely nights... For more canal deaths, check out the master post . --   The Monmouthshire Merlin of 9th January 1864 reported that Mary Jones, an elderly lady who lived locally with her son, had been found drowned in the canal on Thursday 31st December 1863. She had left her son's house about 18:00 hours and was ultimately pulled from the canal by two lockmen, William Edwards and Charles Edwards, at 22:00. An inquest was held at the Pontnewydd Inn on Saturday 2nd January 1864, the jury returning an open verdict in the absence of any evidence. It was deemed most probable that Mary had accidentally slipped into the water. The Illustrated Usk Observer and Raglan Herald of 16th January 1864 also cover

Welsh UFO Sightings 2010

Welsh UFO sightings from 2009. For sightings from other years please click HERE . Friday 1st January, 00:10 Cardiff Witness saw orange lights in the sky, as reported in Amskaya #81. PRESS Sunday 3rd January, 17:50 Pontyclun Brian Howells (64) saw 'a big ball of fire moving quite quickly and silently'. He caught the sighting on video camera. NUFORC Sunday 3rd January Flint Witness was travelling home by car with his wife and two children when they saw a very bright red object in the clear night sky. It seemed too high and too bright to be a flare. They stopped the car and watched the light move around and then upwards for a minute or two. The sighting was reported later the same day. " Bright red light moves in winter sky and then shoots upwards. On a short journey home as a back seat passenger nearest the window with my wife and two children on a clear night (-3 degrees Celsius) without
