It's been another busy week - lots of meetings and training sessions and stuff like that. It's half term next week though and I have most of it off to spend time with Marianna. :) Today she's going swimming with Hannah though, so I am chilling out at home watching Doris Day films. (RIP!)

Yesterday I put together a website for Mt Pleasant Community Hall. I've still got to change out the placeholder pics, and embed an events calendar. The bare bones of the thing are done though. I've somehow signed myself up to do a presentation on Torfaen for the next Bron Afon board away day too, so that'll be more wrangling with technology...

Today I'm just sticking to ebay listing. I've got some more doll clothes to go up, and a bunch of vintage fashion magazines.

#1. Welsh. My year group was the first to have to study it at GCSE level and I really couldn't see the point. The school compromised by letting us take it as a short course, but it meant I left school unable to even recite the alphabet fluently, in spite of my paper pass.

This week has been long and stressful - lots of appraisals, and meetings, and worrying. It's over now though and I am so thankful!

On the blog I've posted reviews of Mini Bazar UK and Bees Miniatures. I also started a new regular feature thanks to the closing down sale at The Works... Well, okay, it's the 5th today, but Darth Marianna was too cute an opportunity to pass up. :)

Anthony bought the dress for her on Tuesday and she has rarely been parted from it since. She even wore it to residents' advice surgery yesterday morning. Apart from rewatching way too many Star Wars movies, I've been continuing with the quest to list half my possessions on ebay - that's what it feels like, anyway - and gardening.

I mowed the lawn, finally, and cut back the hedge so far it's no longer in our garden. It gave me great satisfaction!

On the blog I've posted a guide to Cutie Pops dolls, a miniature book review, and another of MitchyMooMiniatures. Away from the world of miniatures I reviewed Beans & Sparks Club and Mustela Skincare.
