Gener8 is a browser extension that lets you build up reward points by browsing the web and getting on with your day to day life. You can then exchange those points for gift cards, offers, and charity donations.
Points build up quickly in my experience, and over the last couple of years I've had physical stickers, an air freshener, USB stick, Amazon gift cards, and various charitable donations through the platform.
The problem is that it's a relatively tiny outfit, and the limited number of gift cards available sell out almost immediately. I originally installed it as an ad blocker - it switches out ads with pictures of cute animals - so the reward points were just an added extra. Since then, however, Microsoft launched their own take on this idea as Microsoft Rewards with more reliable cash out availability but way less ethical consideration.
Ultimately, Gener8 is a kind of YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) option based on your personal preferences and sensibilities when it comes to browser rewards.
