Photo-Love magazine from May 12th 1979. These were changing times - the letters' page warned readers of eating unrefrigerated leftovers (#31) and to help convince your parents that just because your boyfriend is "not one hundred per cent British he's not going to be very different to other fellas". Then there's a photo-story reflecting what must have been many readers' reality (#25):
"Linda Daniels is Mike's wife. She's deeply in love with him but her mother never approved of Linda's choice of husband. Linda wants her to like Mike, but her mother thinks Mike is a failure. Now, at the same time that Mike has lost his job and is in debt, Linda's found she is expecting a baby!"
