We've all been getting back into the swing of things this week. I did some more work on the garden - there is only one patch of nettles left to destroy now! - and have been organising and decluttering indoors too. I discovered that there are thousands of self help organizing books on Kindle Unlimited, so I've been getting lots and lots of new ideas.
There was a police surgery on Saturday morning at Mt. Pleasant Hall. If you live in Pontnewydd and fancy a chat with your local officer, the next one will be on October 8th (10am - 11am). After that my mum, Marianna and I went to a MGM Dollshouse Fair at Cwmbran Stadium. I had already bought some new miniatures this month from Dollshouse Mania, so I was just going to look around. ...I ended up spending £50. It's a good job I've managed to sell plenty of things on ebay in the last fortnight!

☆ READING: Anthony did Frenchie Mummy's #DaddyTag - check it out here.
☆ WRITING: A post about the Reeves branch of our family tree.
☆ WATCHING: Red Dwarf - I can't wait for the new series!
☆ LISTENING: What Can You Give A Nudist For His Birthday? This week's theme for my #FridayFrivolity linky was female comedians, and one of my choices was Gracie Fields. I love comedy songs, and she performed some corkers!
What can you give a nudist for a present?
I somehow think that cuff links would be wrong.
And a watch chain would look silly, draped across the front of Willy...
Oh, what can you give a nudist when his birthday comes along?
☆ WEARING: I had to layer up on Saturday it was so cold. Summer really is over. :(
☆ EATING: We had a date night on Friday; we watched Jurassic World and ate Philly Cheesesteak. It was very nice!
☆ REVIEWING: Sense Organics kids' clothing.

There was another Tots 100 update this week - I went up 8 places to #161. Still a long way off from my personal best of #131 though! I'm glad I had a bit of a break this summer though, I feel much more enthusiastic about the blog again.
You've been busy! We've been basking in sunshine here in Kent, so I refuse to believe that Summer is officially over! Always good to hear a round up - love the nudist ditty :) Alison x #KCACOLS
ReplyDeleteThat song always cracks me up - I'm just a big kid at heart! :)
DeleteI love your little list on what you have been doing this week. Well done on your tots score. I so pleased with my best ever score of in the 400's! xx

It has been quite nice to have some autumnal weather - I don't feel like I'm melting everywhere I go! lol
DeleteOoo I didn't know you were a Dwarfer as well?! (Or maybe I did - I'm forgetful!). I really can't wait for the new series! I already know the plot of one episode as I was in the audience when it was being filmed!
ReplyDeleteAnd Marianna looks so smart in that dress! #KCACOLS
She managed to stay like it for about 10 minutes, before she was covered in dirt and food! xD
DeleteI bet that was so awesome! It's one of only a handful of shows I'm happy to watch over and over again - praise doesn't come any higher from me! x
Sounds like a busy but fun week! Well done on your tots score #161 is brilliant! I also love Red Dwarf and can't wait to watch it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #KCACOLS. I hope to see you back again next week X
Aw, thank you! :3 I'm hoping to work on getting it up a bit now over the winter months. x
DeleteSounds like a great week. I thought summer was over and it's gone warm again, I don't think the weather knows what to do x #happydays
ReplyDeleteIt really does seem to be all over the place at the moment - yesterday was wet and humid here. :(
DeleteIt's so funny reading your blog and recognising my local area in it! The Philly cheesesteak sounds lush and we really are definitely out of summer now aren't we! #KCACOLS
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, whenever I see something I recognise on a blog or TV or whatever I get all excited. It was so good - I don't know why I hadn't tried it before!
DeleteWhat a busy week! You've reminded me that I need to sort my garden out - yuk! Thanks for linking up to #HappyDaysLinky x
