Produced by DreamWorks, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power launched on Netflix in November 2018. We're already on season three! Still, the cartoon is very cute; I've been watching with Marianna and we all like it.
Mattel announced an accompanying doll line earlier this year and released a SDCC exclusive She-Ra and Shadow Weaver set to whet everybody's appetites. In July five character dolls followed, plus a She-Ra and Swift Wind double set. The dolls have a range of body types which means their heights slightly differ, but they're more or less in line with other current Mattel doll brands in terms of proportions.
The face molds are very cute, imo, and I wouldn't mind picking up a She-Ra at some point. My favourite character is Scorpia though, so fingers crossed the dolls stick around for a second wave!
