It's World Book Day! I remember getting a book token to mark the very first one, many years ago - you can read more about that in my WBD post from last year. Marianna is still too young for the all singing, all dancing event it has become, but we did get to commemorate WBD 2016 in a very special way...

Adjustamatic Adjustable Beds contacted me and asked if I'd like to be involved with a bloggers' ebook project. Each contributor wrote a little bit about their child's favourite #BedtimeStories, which was then compiled into a gorgeous little ebook with the most adorable illustrations.
Reading with your children is so important - not just for the educational benefits, but for the quality time you get to spend together and the memories you create. Our choice was Five Little Kittens by A.J. Macgregor and W. Perring, part of the Ladybird 401 (animal rhymes) series. How cute is our page:
Don't forget to share your own favourite #BedtimeStories with Adjustamatic on Facebook or @AdjustableBedUK on Twitter!

DeleteI used to love World Book Day in school! I remember dressing up as my favourite characters and getting so excited for my book token! It's crazy to think how much technology has changed because eBooks weren't a thing back then. Great post!

DeleteI'm so happy my daughters both enjoy reading. My son is 4 so he can't read yet and he's not overly interested in books at the moment. Each child is different, so I'll imagine he'll get more into it. #FabFridayPost
